Ingredients
Scale
- 4 turkey cutlets
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- If the turkey cutlets aren’t already thin, place them between two pieces of plastic wrap and gently pound them to about 1/2-inch thickness.
- Season both sides of the turkey cutlets with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Drizzle lemon juice over the cutlets.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
- Place the turkey cutlets in the pan and cook for 4–5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Remove the cutlets from the pan and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired.
Notes
- Use a heavy-bottomed or cast-iron skillet for the best sear.
- Avoid overcooking to keep the cutlets juicy — use a meat thermometer for accuracy.
- Resting the cutlets after cooking locks in moisture.
