- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil (optional)
- 2 cups cooked white or brown rice
- Green onions, sliced (for garnish)
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add ground beef and cook until fully browned, breaking it up with a spatula (about 6–8 minutes).
- Add minced garlic and diced red and green bell peppers. Cook for another 5–6 minutes until peppers are tender.
- Stir in soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and sesame oil. Mix well and cook for another 2–3 minutes until everything is heated through.
- Serve over warm cooked rice and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Enjoy immediately.

- Use brown rice for added fiber and nutrients.
- For extra heat, add red pepper flakes or a splash of sriracha.
